A nod to humankind’s original ring—a piece of metal, hammered into a wire and wrapped around the finger—Springtown Handmade offers incredible boldness without compromising on comfort. Handcrafted from natural 20k California Gold, we make this ring by hand-drawing gold wire and wrapping it to size. It is an awesome alternative wedding band or a perfect faux ring stack with 3 coils measuring 9mm total on the top side. And if there is room on your finger, stack it with another ring. This coil ring features our hammered “River Worn” finish and grizzly bear hallmark.
Springtown Handmade gets its name from a California Gold Rush boomtown, fittingly named because of its spring-like design. While this is our unique version of it, similar rings have been found in ancient cultures such as Inca, Celtic, Norse, Mongolian and others.

Made of California gold that is responsibly-mined in Yuba and Nevada counties in Northern California. We are directly involved in the sourcing of the gold and handcraft the bands in our Venice studio, giving us an unequivocal level of visibility from mining to making our jewelry.
Our 20k alloy offers a unique greenish-gold hue that is characteristic of raw California placer gold. By nature and a proprietary process combined, our rings are made for everyday long-time wear and will overtime take on a personal patina reflecting your unique lifestyle and story.
